Looking to replace my ancient tempurpedic.

Thoughts?

Recommendations of style?

I think just about any of the new box memory foam mattresses are good. I've heard good things about most I've seen. But I think the "gold standard" is still Tempur-pedic. I think if I can convince the wife, we'll be getting one before the year is out but I might have to bite the bullet on a sleep number. We have completely different likes and needs out of a mattress.

I found this article from Forbes.

Best Memory Foam Mattresses 2020

We bought a Leesa to replace our beloved pillow top mattress. We've been sleeping on it for less than a year and we both agree that it's just ok. I probably would not buy it again and had I bought it directly from them I would have returned it. I bought it from the Marine Corps Association as a a donation.

Old school duck feather is my favorite, but I do have to admit the memory foam I crashed on at my sister's was pretty damn comfy... kinda traps the heat in though. Awesome if you live in a cold climate, not so awesome for south tejas.

I am constantly overheating. It can be - 40 out, I'm beside the wall/window and I still have the window open. There's some new memory foam mattresses that have cooling features.

I was looking at this one.
