F-16's are old and the engines worn out. Greek AF doesn't get a ton of money either. Bad combination of events.

I would think as much, but you never know if something came up that ripples to our airframes.

Losing thrust where, and when this aircraft did, makes me think about FOD. Sad news no matter the cause. Prayers out for all touched by this.
