TAMPA, Florida― BAE Systems is showcasing key products and technologies at the Special Operations Forces Industry Conference (SOFIC), to be held at the Tampa Convention Center in Tampa, Florida, May 20-22. These will include ballistic vests, helmets and hard armor as well the Remote Guardian System and Q-Sight.
These products will be on display at booth # 343-443.
BAE Systems’ ballistic vests are the latest in next-generation body armor design. They form part of a system which can be tailored to increase performance and allow greater comfort for the user.
Products from BAE Systems’ ECLiPSE™ Performance Military Gear product line will also be on display at SOFIC. Recently launched, the ECLiPSE product line combines existing and emerging technologies with evolutionary designs and materials to form lightweight, versatile products for combat use.
Company executives will be available to discuss and demonstrate BAE Systems Remote Guardian System, Q-Sight™ family of helmet display products, aircraft active control sticks, and visual situational awareness capabilities.
The Remote Guardian System answers the need for an affordable, all-quadrant, defensive weapon system for the CV-22 tilt rotor aircraft. The lightweight Q-Sight system adds heads-up display capability to any helmet to improve pilot situational awareness.
