I read that it was a hoax. But after Nashville I can see why people are jumpy.

Yep...immediately following incidents like Nashville, gunfire calls go up drastically originating from vehicle backfires to fireworks, etc. A lot of people are on edge because of that bombing and it probably won't go away for a while.
