Observation of enemy activity
Canadian Snipers survey enemy activity at an Observation Post before an assault during Exercise Tireur Accompli.

Exercise Tireur Accompli is the final exercise on the basic sniper course. It aims at enabling candidates to apply the variety of skills and techniques that were taught during the course, such as the setting of observation posts, stalking, materiel destruction and engaging targets. The exercise was held at CFB Valcartier from 19-23 September 2011.

Cet exercice vise à permettre aux candidats de pratiquer la gamme d’habiletés et de techniques qui leur ont été enseignées pendant le cours, comme l’établissement de postes d’observation, la poursuite, la destruction de matériel et l’engagement d’objectifs. L’exercice s’est déroulé à la BFC Valcartier du 19 au 23 septembre 2011.

Paratroopers from 2 CMBG practised land and water jumps from CH-146 Griffon Helicopters.
The Company Parachute Group is composed of parachutists from 3 RCR, 2 CER and 2 RCHA.

Dumbarse question here, but what happens to the parachutes in a water jump? They'd be a bitch to pull in I'd imagine.
