Hey guys, new to the forum. Former Army Ranger (B Co 1/75) 2004-2008 w/ Iraq tours (Mosul, Tel Afar, Balad). Involuntarily recalled (IRR) back to active duty Oct 2009-Oct 2010 for Afghanistan (Kunar Province-Asadabad, Pech River Valley, Korengal areas) as regular infantryman.

I also sent my DD214's to the email address listed for Verification -- generally how long does that take?

Yeah man, recalled a whole bunch of grunts. It was during the time period that Obama was trying to increase troop levels to around 150,000 in Afghanistan and I guess they couldn't augment enough active duty units to create that spike so they started pulling dudes from IRR to fill in spots. Was definitely a new experience.
