Hi all, not sure where to post this.
I'm an 18x shipping out in a couple of weeks. Since I signed my contract in February, I've been trying to figure out what my contract means. My recruiters are no help and I've seen people elsewhere online with similar questions. My contract is broken down as such:
"PREREQ - 15 weeks X days - BENN
PREREQ - 5 weeks X days - BENN
OSUT - 2 weeks X days - BENN"
Nothing for Bragg (SOPC, selection). It's an 18x contract, so don't bother joking about me getting punked. My recruiter said the 15 week section is BCT, the 2-3 week section is airborne and the 5 week is specific 18x training. He then said I'd go to Bragg for SOPC... but then he said that the 5 week section is SOPC... which is listed as taking place at Benning. I didn't press the issue further as he clearly didn't know for sure. He had also said that I'd be getting the 22 week OSUT so I have no idea what to believe.
Basically, I have no idea. I'm not really worried, but it'd be nice to generally know what my contract means.
Thanks.
