For $2.99 (Kindle Only) this is a bargain. This is an account from an interview with four German soldiers who fought at each of the main invasion beaches on D-Day. The interviews were done in 1954 (+/-) and not published till now. The author was a German who wrote propaganda pieces for various German military publications during the war. The author had been in Normandy only a few days before the invasion interviewing troops for a piece that was never published. He took his notes and attempted to find those that he interviewed or soldiers from the same unit. The notes of these interviews remained unpublished till a few weeks ago. The authors Grandson found them after his death and under took the task of compiling them into a book.
