Good morning Shadowspear,
I joined quite a while ago, but have not been on the forum consistantly until recent. I figured since I have been using this site for information its time that I became an official part of it, so please pardon the delayed entry of my introduction.
I am 29 and come from a Military family. My father, uncle, and cousin are all retired SGM's. I broke the mold and attended ROTC for a short while before deciding to enlist into the Washington Army National Guard in '03. I am still serving in the Guard as a Squad Leader in a Chemical Company. Over the course of my life from High School thru College, I have been blessed to have had Great Mentorship from several Special Forces Soldiers that have inspired me to follow their paths. I attended a pre-selection in '09 with A co 1/19 (A) but ended up not returning afterwards as my wife was not fully committed to the idea of SFAS and me being gone for that long. Fast forward 4 years, the wife is fully onboard and I am getting myself back on the track to give it another try. I am aiming at another try out this fall when I get my body right and where it needs to be.
I would like to thank the staff for providing a Great site and I look forward to learning more and eventually becoming a contributor to the forum.
