I just got back from the memorial service for TSgt Philip Myers, EOD Team Leader at RAF Lakenheath. While not labeled Special Operators in the Air Aorce, EOD Technicians routinely put themselves in harms way, most notably clearing all IED's in Iraq and Afghanistan. These guys and girls are squared away and are down range daily working in conjunction with all services, and TSgt Myers was one of their best. His homecoming was the first military return allowed to be photographed by the media. Link follows.

RIP, Warrior. You will be missed.

I have worked with, and have gotten to know Phil over the last few months. He was a true professional, and died doing what he loved. He will be missed by all who have had the pleasure of knowing him.
RIP Brother.
SBG sends.
