A family member works in a Federal Detention Holding Center as a Psychiatrist (basically jail for those rounded up in RICO investigations or drug smuggling, tax fraud.....
Apparently, despite the USMS semi-regularly bringing in prisoners facing sentences in the range of 75 years for committing triple murder while repping a street gang, leaders on pins and needles, knowing they could end up with a 50 year sentence in US MAX Prison if their underlings cut a deal, and other degenerates of this ilk.

However, the CO training course is a blink of an eye in being 7.5 weeks, mistakes have been made such as a pedophile rapist and murderer/kidnapper being left alone with this female family member for over 3 minutes with only a dentist down the hall, and for whatever reason 3 COs on the other side of a security door.

Obviously, no SORT training has been given to the staff at this tinderbox, where people fresh from the street deal with potential life-without-parole sentences. Once, a former army infantry soldier got a 299 year sentence (damn) for having around 20 HDDs of extremely disturbing content involving children. He was fine until the judge told him he would receive 10x30 year sentences, served consecutively, with 350 days for time served. Then, he came back, started a fight and used a shiv to cut his own throat and he quickly bled out.

Can any of the agentes especial, aka the federales on this board confirm/deny as to whether this is the norm? If so, the USMS should stop putting RICO and Pedo defendants up in this center.

Federal pre-trail is a pain...courts don’t like doing pre-trail confinement. At the local/state level, if you can’t make bail, you stay in jail until trail...why the feds don’t....is just crazy to me!
