Anyone have any experience with the FN SPR series of rifles. The company I work for is looking at possibly purchasing one. Thanks

My brother has one pretty wicked rifle.

With M118LR we were getting .43"-.62" groups @ 100m (5 rounds, center to center on a sunny day. Didnt take any atmospheric data)
Winchester M70 based, FN SPR/20" heavy, pillar bedded into a McMillan A3 stock, custom m14 10 rnd internal box magazine, AAC 7.62SD silencer, with Harris std L series S tilting bi-pod, MKIV rings and MKIV M3 LRT scope(TMR recticle),

It now has a Scout .30 can that we manufactured. Dollar for dollar id say its every bit as nice as an m24/m40 series. Its pretty damn accurate I know everynow and then you get a unit rifle thats tits accurate but considering the SPR is so much less money it makes sense. Total money into my brothers build is something like 3800 thats not bad considering what its capable of.

Thanks man. It had been so long since I posted the question, that I had forgotten all about it. Ironically, we are again looking at purchasing another rifle. I am going to have to look into FN again.

No experience with FN. I do have some with the AIAE. Out of the box, one hell of a shooter.

Best group to date, 1.5in at 300yards. Glass is a Loopy 4.5 - 14, Mil LRT.

Who painted the rifle in that Multicam? I am trying to get the "pantones" of the Multicam colors to paint my new 338LM in them. From the textile I dont get a real color...as the cloth gives a different shade than flat colors.

Youve have a nice rifle!!
