Greetings, one and all.
USMC Vet here, of 6046 Maintenance Admin (IE OFFICE POG) variety. I served from 1999-2003 with MALS-31 (Power Plants and GSE) and with VMFA-115, the "Silver Eagles", at MCAS Beaufort, SC. Being a "Hollywood" Marine, this afforded me the chance to see both bootcamps, and I'm still conflicted as to which is worse, the hills or the sandfleas! I also had the pleasure of serving with ship's security for the duration of my cruise aboard the USS Truman, meaning I was "MA" in both Navy and Marine lingo.
These days, I divide my time between college, and volunteering for a local veteran's organization. It is a very fufilling endeaver, helping other veterans, their families, as well as active duty military. I look forward to meeting all of you, and becoming a part of this community.
