FORT CAMPBELL, Ky. – Severe weather overnight caused significant damage to facilities and some aircraft belonging to the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne) facilities at Fort Campbell, Ky. There were no injuries to personnel.

Damage assessments are underway; the full extent of the damages are not yet known. The Regimental Command Team's top priorities remain the safety of unit personnel during the clean-up process and sustainment of support to deployed units.

“The resiliency and dedication of our Night Stalker personnel and the support of our Fort Campbell military community will ensure we are able to safely restore our facilities to normal working order,” said Col. Vincent Reap, Deputy Commander, 160th SOAR.

I'll say this up front regarding this story:

If it doesn't come from a USASOC PAO with a link it will not be discussed. Photos, speculation, rumor....I'm not going to play that game.
