Hello, I’m new to this website, and I’m sure this topic has already been beaten to death on countless other forums. Regardless, I’m in need of assistance, and I don’t have to time scour through the forums on this site to find my answers. So I’m in the process of enlisting in the army, I took my asvab a couple of days a days ago, and the results were....for lack of a better words disappointing. I got a 66 with a gt score of 105 (that’s the only line score I know) I’m just not a great test taker I guess, although I got a 93 on my picat. Yet I digress, my recruiter and I were talking about getting me an 11x option 40 contract and it seemed impossible due to what I’ve been reading online is he minimum requirement is a 110 GT score for a option 40. Although, right as I thought all hope was lost he printed out this document that said the minimum requirement was a 105. I was a little stunned by this, so in the end I guess my question is if what on the document is true or he is just bullshitting me. (See picture for document)

Forgot to mention, but I aspire to become a army ranger. It’s always been my dream, if I am unable to get the contract it’s just a speed bump in the grand scheme. I will keep working no matter it takes and what I have to do I will give it my all because that’s what a fucking warrior does.

They also make their first order of business to post an introduction.

Do you also promise to die before you quit?
Lighten up on the bravado and post your intro. Thread will be unlocked after that.

ETA:

Now that I'm awake are have my coffee....

You are either a Troll (nice screen name by the way) or have zero sense for the type of website you are on and who frequents it.

Comments like this will get you zero here:

1 - write your intro. (per site rules)
2 - There are a number of recruiter/option 40 related topics on this site. Search for them and read them.
3 - Change your tone to that of a person who respects where he is. Do your work; then ask your question in the appropriate area. The forum "Help Desk" is not that area.

I am moving this post to where it should be.
