I dig the Beretta M12 and the Aussy L1A1....
Good to see the Aussies represented here...
There were all kinds of guns, both authorized and unauthorized floating around over there. I had an M3 blowback grease gun as a secondary weapon for a while. A few of our Regional Force infantry counterparts had M1 carbines. CAG issued pump shotguns to the team actuals at one time but most were returned, thanks, but no thanks...The bloop was fun to shoot and in a night contact often our only source for lume.

Agreed. They are often ignored in the discussions on the Vietnam war, but they had a very significant contribution, and they kicked ass.
