......she was not from Plattsburg, she was from Syracuse right? I do say that most people don't even realize that a battle took place there during the war in 1812, not even the people living there. Plattsburg is not a part of Upstate its more border town eastern no one cares NY.

SUNY Plattsburg...but I think she was from Rome NY..... anyway.... I am 45 miles north of NYC and I get called "upstate". I think of anything north of Albany as UpState.
