Hi all! I'm excited to be here. A little about myself:
I served 6 years in the Army National Guard as an 11B while I was finishing up college. That service was uneventful aside from two boring weeks sitting in a humvee guarding a mall when we deployed to Ferguson during the civil unrest in STL. Since finishing up school and my enlistment I've worked a number of jobs, none of which captured my attention, I started and sold a CrossFit gym, thru-hiked the Appalachian Trail, rode a bicycle from Mexico to Canada and then hiked from Canada back to New Mexico on the Continental Divide Trail. The goal was to get all the way back to Mexico but I unfortunately contracted giardia from drinking unfiltered water in the Colorado mountains. Lost 16lbs in two weeks during that ordeal. Not fun.
Now I'm looking to get back in and do some things in the Army that I wasn't mature enough for in my 20s. I'm looking at two options:
I'm here to gather more information and learn. Thanks for reading!

- 11B Opt 40. Go to Ranger school. Get 1-2 deployments under my belt. Then go to SFAS.
- 11B Airborne. Go to Ranger school. Drop a SFAS packet.
