Hello my fellow Warriors. I'm new to the forum, I'm a career Soldier within the Special Operations community and I've been in the Army for 20 years. I started out as a vertical construction/combat engineer and after 10 years of building and blowing stuff up, deploying and admiring the Special Forces, Civil Affairs, MISO, and other Special Operations Units I deiced I wanted to work with professional Soldiers unlike the majority of what I had currently worked with at that time. Soldiers/Operators like myself who think outside the box but maintain high standards and high levels of professionalism, live up to the Ethos our regiment is known for. I'm joining the forum to share my experiences both successful and unsuccessful and to learn anything I can to further better myself and the Special Operations Regiment as a whole both personally and professionally.

Some quick background before I continue: Of late, we've had a number of guys come on here and beat around the bush about the status and background with a few stating an SF MOS and when caught tried to weasel out of their false claims. So, we're a little distrustful when someone arrives and has an Intro post like yours where you're saying that you are in the SOF community, to me it reads like you are in SF, but without offering any specifics like your MOS.

In short, I am not calling you a poser, but your Intro reads like too many we've seen in the past: long on words, short on details.

Having been burned in the past, we're skeptical when we see an Intro like yours.
