Hey everyone this is my first time posting here. I’m currently in the Air Force Reserve, been in for almost 3 years now, grade E-4. I’m trying to switch to the National Guard for special forces. I don’t wanna go AD because I am in the hiring process right now for CBPO.
Q. 1- how hard would it be for me to switch from AFR to NG special forces?
Q. 2- do I have to be a 5 level in my current afsc first to make the switch?
Q. 3- would I be able to use my old asvab score?
Q. 4- would it be easier for me to switch to the ANG and cross train to TACP?

I’ll be 28 this summer, and I don’t wanna wait till I’m like 30 to go to these pipelines.

Any advice would help. Thank you!

The "Welcome" area is just for that. Welcomes.

You will want to begin a new thread with your questions....on that:
- Be sure you are Capitalizing Special Forces
- Members will want to know what work you have already done to get your questions answered.
- Have you spoke to a recruiter?
- Have you searched this forum
- Etc

Please do not answer those questions here.

Welcome and best of success to you.
