I know this is a long shot, but I'm looking for an update on a Ranger I met briefly down range.

In July of 2013, My crew was orbiting overhead what seemed like a pretty relaxed op, when suddenly all hell broke loose. A few minutes into the fight, we recieve a radio transmission to cease fire due to someone getting shot, and some confusion surrounding it. Ground team figured it out, and we continued shooting. A few days later, the Ranger was stable enough to transport to a larger base. My crew and I were lucky enough to visit him and give him the 105mm brass that handled the asshole that shot him. Total damage was a gunshot wound to his left hand/forearm and to his gut, resulting in removal of some of his intestines.

If anyone knows him on here, or thinks they might know him, I was just curious how he is doing and other things such as if he is still serving.

I can give some more details for better ID, but don't want to give away too much.

Just an update. Thanks to two awesome members of this forum, I was able to get a positive status update on the individual. I let the rest of my crew that was overhead that night, know that he was still pressing on, and being a Ranger, and they all came to the consensus that he is a stronger man than us, and we would still be curled up in the fetal position had it been one of us.

I am fortunate to have a job that keeps me relatively safe, yet provides the amount of excitement it does, while also helping keep others relatively safe as well.
