This is TadPole 95.
I have yet to serve in the military. However I plan to, which I will go I to detail very shortly. I have been in a pr gram called the United States Sea Cadet corps and the local Sheriff Explorer program. Through the Cadet program, I went through many advanced trainings and have been taught by many military personal.
Starting out, I wanted to join the Marine Corp and be a scout sniper. However, while attending a live fire excersize in Virginia, I was approached by some guys who were attending it as well. They spoke to me about my intentions and plans. They sparked my interest in Naval Special warfare.
I am one who attempts to learn as much about everything as possible. So I started with the very first FrogMan. Then as I read my interests took my books to an earlier period. Such as Rogers Rangers and the Marauders of the Revolutionary War. Then continuing on to the Navy Scouts and so on forth to the Conveyance of the SEALs. And I will admit I have the average teenage guy hard on for all that special operations stuff. However, I know I'm different for I understand that it takes a certain level of character and mental readiness to support the constitution.
I believe you only get what go work for. Do the right thing, right here, right now. And that no matter what life brings, there's only three things that ring true; boots ALWAYS point forward, God will ALWAYS be with you, and you will Never know what tomorrow holds, so work hard, plan for the worst, and make the best out of every moment.
