Pretty weak intro.

What did you do in the Army? When? For how long?

YOU signed an agreement when you joined that included an intro as your first post.

As I understand it it was meant to be brief till vetted. I just submitted the vetting info to include my Ret. document and original P1A school Certificate. I was a Pershing Missle crewman. 15E10. Cross trained to 21G 10 Pershing Missle launch operator I served with B-BTRY 3/84thFA until it became 4/9thFA and stood multiple QRA missions as part of the 7th Army QRA mission in support of Regan`s nuclear triad initiative. I was trained as a " Depo Level" armorer once it was determined i had undetermined medical issues and stood down from "QRA' status in 1987 where i was assigned as Senior unit armorer where i remained till evac to CONUS. I was stationed in Heilbronn Germany from 1983 till 1987 where by I was medically evacuated to Walter Reed Hospital with an unknown ilness which later turned out to be job related throat cancer for which I was Medically retired for in 1988 due to total loss of voice box. I was medically RET. home to La where by i moved to Ga and attended Aviation Maintenance school as part of my Vocational Rehab through VA. I worked for US Air then Piedmont Aviation then GE Aircraft Engines as an aircraft mechanic. At GE for 18.5 years and am now a senior Tech and process engineer. all along the way keeping up with my sideline of building rifles and shooting them. I have held several 07 manufacturer FFL`s in the past 13 years currently listed as "Black Rifle Specialties".
I shoot high power FTR and am lead Armorer for the Junior marksmanship support group junior high power team here in Raleigh.

I would appreciate it if someone in the Admin staff would let me know when It is appropriate for me to post and or participate in the forums. I do not wish to violate anymore of the rules. Till then I will continue to enjoy the info open to the public. I am going to bed now and will check back in later in the AM.

You have made your initial intro as per the site rules, and as long as you familiarize yourself with the rest of the rules, you are free to use your own best judgment as to what and when you post. I'd caution you to remember to request permission from the site staff before posting anything that might be construed as an advertisement. Other than that, game on!
