Hey everybody,
I'll go by the name Baxter. I'm in highschool going into my senior year but I'm in the process of going to MEPS and getting an 11X Option 40 contract. I've already taken the ASVAB, my AFQT was 76 and I'm still waiting for the recruiter to hit me with those line scores (I took it at school and for some reason I had to sign permission for the recruiter to have access to it which I did last Thursday).
I have a lot of cousins that are or were infantrymen in the US Army and my dad (who was Intel 96 Bravo 82-89) always brags on the infantry, especially the Rangers. So I guess personally I've grown up seeing the Army Infantry as the best of what I could become. So if the Rangers are the best Infantrymen, then that's where I'm gonna try my best to go.
I'm excited about enlisting and right now I'm just PTing and having fun for the next year until I hopefully ship. I came to you guys for insight, wisdom, and camaraderie in the meantime.
There's really not much else to know about me but I look forward to hanging out with y'all.
