Hello gentlemen,
Thank you for this opportunity to absorb the knowledge going through these threads.
I am a 32 year old Navy vet. I have been out 10 years. I can no longer punch a clock at work. I am a union welder at a speciality steel shop in upstate NY. Great job, great guys, great pay, could not ask for more.
I have always wanted to do something special with my life. After I discharged from the Navy I became a paramedic for 3 years. I lived for the adrenaline rush. I loved the fact that I had no idea what I was walking into and having to perform flawlessly at a moments notice and stay calm. My partner was an E8 in the National Guard (Guam) and he told I should consider SF.
Until now I have not made nor had time to act on this. With a very supporting wife and things in the right place I am ready to talk to the US Army about an 18x contract.
I have no questions as of this moment. Still scanning all the threads possible to find answers. Thank you again.
