I am a Staff Sergeant in the Marine Corps, have served 10 years. I am an artilleryman which means I am whatever the Marine Corps wants at the moment. Deployed on a MEU in 2000 and did ops in Montenegro, in 03 with RCT 1 attached to 1/11, went to the drill field on Parris Island, came back to the fleet and went on a MTT (military transition team/combat advisor) with the Iraqi Army for a year. The MTT spoiled me and I have been trying to get into MARSOC ever since. The main reason I am on this website is I am 29 years old, under-utilized in my MOS, and want to find something better. MARSOC is the way to go for someone like me and I am looking for advice on how to prepare for A&S and ITC. Thanks.
Good luck, whatever happens to you, Staff Sergeant! It's the same way in Army with "Red Legs," these daze. Hope you find what you want/need.

Welcome aboard!
Welcome, Marine -- I hope you find what you are looking for.

Semper Fi.
