A journalist asked a Finnish soldier in the Winter war against Russia:

-How is it to be a soldier in this war?
Well, either you die or you live. If you live, there is no problems.
But if you die... there is two problems.

Either you end up in a mass grave or a single grave.
If you end up in a single grave there is no problems.
But if you end up in a mass grave.... there is two problems.

Either you will grow up as an spruce ore a pine-tree.
If you grow up as a spruce there is no problem.
But if you grew up as a pine-tree... there is two problems.
(You see where this is going)

Either you will end up as toilet paper on a women´s toilet or a mens toilet.
And if you end up at the women´s toilet. There is no problems being a
soldier in the Winter war.

With that said,

I thought it would be more interesting to be told a story from our good neighbor to Sweden, rather than my CV. E.i. Started as a Lapland Ranger two decades ago. Still boots on the ground in Recon although part time.

I joined this forum unilaterally to share and obtain, knowledge about tactical tracking.

Best regards
