Hello everyone. My name is Iordanis, I'm from Greece and i just recently finished my 9 months mandatory military service in the Hellenic Army.
In 2012 i was ordered to report to the military engineer training camp in Nafplio, and after a month of training i was relocated to the 95th National Guard Engineer Battalion in Rhodes, where i stayed for the next 8 months. Unfortunately due to the bad financial situation of my country (the reason our superiors gave us), most of the exercises we were supposed to do never happened. The specialization of my cohort (EOD) was: support of engineer officers, in laying mines and clearance of mine fields in wartime.
I learned about your site randomly, while browsing through military related news about a week ago.
Aside from this little military adventure of mine, i am a semi professional football player, and i also study to get my hands on the UEFA B diploma for becoming a manager. Video games, books and long trips are the things i like doing in my free time.
English is not my 1st language and i'm sorry for the mistakes i make, but i try hard to keep it to a minimum. Best regards and looking forward to explore this great community you have.
