Hello all!
My name is Michael, I am a recent college graduate (Temple University) living in the city of Philadelphia who is in the process of enlisting as an 11x Option 40. Going to try and avoid the cliche'd 'been dreaming of this since a child'. For me, pushing myself and attempting to be the best is all I want to do. The Army Rangers, for me, exemplify these exact ambitions. I am here to both use the vast array of resources available to mentally prepare myself, as well as hoping to use the Mentor program to help me prepare as best I can before my ship date (have not signed anything yet, I mean that in a general sense). I have been training on my own for two weeks, and I know how grueling this challenge will be, so preparing physically and mentally is absolutely whats needed for me. Thank you all for taking the time to read this, and I very much look forward to talking/hearing from you all.

Welcome. I did my ER/ICU internship as a paramedic student at Temple ER, in 1999, worked as a critical care medic in that region for few years. I have a few friends that attend school with you. You do know that one of the head ER docs is Doc Bryan from the series, General Kill, former SARC.
