Introduction (Newly Commissioned Marine Officer)

Howdy all. I'm a Marine Officer that recently commissioned as a 2nd Lt., no military service prior to commissioning. I've been following these forums for the last few months, and the wealth of knowledge available here has astounded me and helped me greatly. I feel fortunate to be amongst your ranks.

I'm still in the process of completing TBS and have no assigned MOS yet, but I plan on eventually joining the SOF team via MARSOC, or preferably the reconnaissance community (depending on which MOS I earn, and how lucky I am).

I'm here to learn, grow my potential as a Marine and share what limited knowledge I may have that can be of use to others. Thank you for the opportunity!

My top two MOS choices are 0203 and 0302 in that order. My goal is command of a reconnaissance platoon. MARSOC is another outstanding community that I'd be privileged to be a part of, but I feel a strong pull to the recon community due to my interactions with their Marines and the information I have about them.
