Hello All-
My name is Donovan Duran I was in the Marine Corps Reserve for 5 1/2 years. A year ago, I just happened to stumble upon this website, and haven't done much with it since. Certain events in my life have changed that, and I plan to spend a substantial amount of time here. I am an idealist, I suppose; however, I am also a realist. Two polar opposites that I think when used in unison make a person powerful. The reason I'm here is to look for mentors in training. I didn't really get the training I needed in the Corps- I pushed hard to get the training, sign up for deployments and schools and was never sent anywhere. I rely heavily upon mentors in my life- from computers to languages to diplomacy. Anything I can learn from another person, I will. That's what brings me here. I am looking for people to train me in many disciplines to accomplish a seemingly common goal- to fight the war on terror. I want to start my own team to aid in the fight against evil in the world. I'm sure many of you will go against this idea, but I have been looking for a very long time for trainers, and I've had no luck yet. I've had a lot of support, but no one who is willing to help me train. So, please, if you can or are willing, help me accomplish this dream of mine.
