Good Evening, All!
FNG to these forums here, you can call me TJ. I am a 15T SGT in the US Army that has been slotted to attend Enlisted Green Platoon in May.
I originally served my first four years as a 13B (Field Artillery Cannon Crewmember) working on M777 and M109A6 howitzers. After that, I transitioned into Army Aviation in the Army Reserve as a 15T (UH-60 Blackhawk Helicopter Repairer), where I spent two years working as a Dual Status Technician turning wrenches full-time on aircraft, in addition to drilling with my unit. I only really got to live that weekend warrior life my last year in the reserve, and honestly I did not dig that lifestyle with the civilian jobs I was working.
With the ARAC shutting down all of the Reserve's aviation regiments, I returned to Active Duty with the intent to serve with the 160th SOAR.
I’m here to learn what I can, read through the experiences and advice of those who have already walked this path, and make sure I’m preparing myself the right way. It was actually Googling things such as the Night Stalker Creed to get it down that lead me to this site.
Looking forward to learning from the community here and hopefully contributing where I can.
