Hello, I found these threads in an attempt to find more information about proper training for MARSOC. I like the idea of all SOF coming together on one website. Hope to join the family soon.
 
I decided to add a little more information. I am currently in the Marines serving as an F/18 Engine Tech. Stationed in Southern California. I am preparing everyday and almost every hour for the initial selection process for MARSOC. One problem I seem to be facing is that I picked up rank a little too soon and may not be able to go since the new requirement is a less than 6 months as a Sergeant. I have to re-enlisted yet so I am trying to use that to my advantage to get in. At this point I would demote myself at a chance to try for the elite teams.

You could look at recon as well, they may be more lenient with the rank requirement since BRC is shorter than ITC. Not easier, just shorter.
