Gentlemen, Ladies,

I have been a member of this site for a while but am just now posting an introduction. Im 26 years old, served a little over 7 years in the Army with a little less than 4 of those years being with the 75th Ranger Regiment. I am currently working as a contractor in Kabul, Afghanistan.

I am not exactly sure of my plans once this contract is over. I will most likely return home to pursue a college degree and a language. My time spent working in and with the military has been in the intelligence field but I would like to transition into the law enforcement, particularly with the Federal Government.

Marauder06, I havent heard of either of those two programs but will certainly look into it. Thanks. As for the vetting, I submitted my paperwork not to long ago. Please let me know if you didnt get it or have any questions/comments/concerns.

You're good on the vetting brother, as your new tags reflect.

I urge you to consider both WSP and EWP. One of our esteemed members is in the WSP right now and can give you the straight scoop.

exarmy, you might also want to look at Columbia School of General Studies.
It's a program within Columbia University to bring non-traditional students (such as yourself) into the undergraduate ranks of the university. It is highly selective, but with some solid post-high school work and some good essays, you can get in. I was just admitted today, and during the Warrior Scholar Program I met one of your fellow Rangers (from 3rd batt) that was admitted as well. They seem to like veterans a lot!
