My name is Alex it’s been my childhood goal to be in the military im extremely happy that it’s becoming a reality. About myself and my story I have all ways been fat and told I’ll never make it in the military among other things because I was 250lb and fat as a kid. But I can tell you I have always had a hard of a lion I all ways finished everything I started. Played football and made it to varsity my freshman year but had to quit do to financial problems. last year I became so tired of people say was to fat and I won’t make it in the military that I hit the gym 6 days of the week pushed myself to all most tears but never quit! I keep pushing myself. I lost 20lb in the first month! Not bad right but I need to be at 185lb for the air force .so I talked to the track coach in my high school and told him my story he help me out .he put me in the long distance team for training lol no one my school could believe me intel word spread around lol people came up to me and Sayed WHY ?i just smiled and walked away. At 225lb I was running long distance I kept up well I was like 15 yards behind the whole time but I never quit I ran and I ran! In less than 4 month I lost 70lb I Im at 180-185lb happy but still need to shape up! I’m in dep program for electrical aviation but that’s not me I have always like special ops type things since I was a kid I been looking at tacp and that’s what I want I need to talk to my recruiter hopefully I can get my job changed. Any advice would help what should I prepare for training wise and what to expect anything would HELP! Thank you.
