Hi all. I have been lurking and reading here the past few months and finally decided to register today. I am a high school senior and in the process of entering the DEP for the Marine Corps. I am not military yet but hope to be in the coming year. I was attracted to this website because I have a great interest and admiration for our military, especially the Special Operations community. In the future, it my goal to work in some capacity in the Special Operations community but for now I am preparing for Boot Camp and trying to learn as much as possible from this site. Thank you for all the great advice and tips from all of the members; I have nothing but respect for all of you. Thanks for having me.

Your recruiter will (or should at least) tell you this, but if you have not done so yet, memorize your general orders and all three verses of the Marine Corps hymn before you get there.
