Hey guys,

I am an Alabama man. Was born and raised here for 23 years. I have been in the military (Air National Guard) for 3 years now in the electrical power production career field. I have not gotten to experience a lot in the military just yet. I have a few training experiences in some excellent locations. As for why I joined, at first I got hit hard with college and did not have much direction, so I joined the guard because that is what my step dad was doing with his life. At first it was to help with school and a little bit to serve my country. That changed drastically to where I really did not care much about school and just loved serving my country. Since I have been back from training in the guard I have wished I went active duty. However, I made the most of my situation and graduated college with a degree in exercise physiology. Now that I have my degree I am wanting to go active duty as a TACP. I am in pretty decent shape, but it is my desire that led me to want to pursue special operations.

Welcome to SS. I applaud your decision to nail down the undergraduate degree. It opens so many more doors, an speaks well of your priorities. Our nation needs bright, dedicated women and men to fill our ranks, no matter what position you begin with; so, do folllow your heart into our active duty ranks. As for TACP, me thinks you may have found the right place here @ SS. I wish you the best of luck with your journey.
