Hello,
I am a 3 yr AD 0602 Marine looking for more information on MARSOC and the SOF community in general. I originally was interested in serving in the Navy EOD community, although during the application process it turned out I was not medically qualified. Since then I have gotten my eyes fixed and am looking to submit a package for a spot at A&S in the near future.
I want to join the SOF community to be part of a group of men that push themselves to the limit of human mental and physical capabilities. Men that look at every day as a new challenge (and a competition). The friends and mentors I have that are already in the SOF community are all selfless individuals whom I greatly respect and envy. It would be an honor to have a chance to join their ranks.
Regardless of the outcome of any potential service in the SOF community, I am interested in learning as much as I can from this site and this forum as it will only assist my “MAGTF mindset” development as I continue my career.
