Greetings all,
I am currently an Army ROTC cadet and member of the FL NG. I am joining this message board to gain insight into the workings of the SOF community; mostly on the support side for now. While I have a burning desire to join and contribute to SF, the beginning of the 18A pipeline is still years away for me. Doing an excellent job as a junior officer is my focus right now, and my skills (Computer Engineering degree with Information Security) would be best applied in either intel or communications. Due to this I am trying to secure a position as an MI or Signal Officer support position in 1/20, since it is centered around where I will move to after commissioning (Northern AL). I am not able to even begin the process of obtaining an LOA for another year, however I already have a few POCs regarding the process and do not have any questions. I am just here to soak up information and better prepare myself.
