First of all a big thanks to those that have created and sustained this board for others to read, learn and share, your work is appreciated.
About me:
A long time ago I had grand visions of becoming a SEAL so I enlisted in the Navy, secured a Diver contract and was all set to ship off to boot camp and a new life until a college football injury resurfaced requiring surgery, there went those dreams, or so I thought. Fast forward to 2001 I was a high school teacher about to start my day when I watched the towers fall. I decided to rehash those dreams and signed up to go to OCS. SEAL officer was not an option so I decided the next best thing was to fly airplanes.
Currently I am a 13 year Naval Flight Officer with my background in the TACAMO community. I have served on carriers, in the Middle East in both Operations New Dawn and Enduring Freedom as well as two tours in the TACAMO community. I also did a tour as a military professor. I am here to learn more than anything so I likely won't post much. But I will answer any aviation questions that I can.
