Lost an adolescent best friend hell raiser - Ryan Philip Lozier (Army Ranger) - 6 May. 2010
One of our last conversations before his passing was that he would have loved to have me serve as his operations commander.
I was urged to apply for the USAFA by my HS guidance counselor given my ASVAB results. I chose a different path.
You choose your own path in life, however, the shock when I heard of Lozier's passing is something that leaves me paralyzed at times, yet still brings out the inner beast within me knowing he left this soil for his higher calling.
