Good morning/afternoon or evening if that's the case when you read this,
My name is Alexis, most people call me Alex and I'm a Marine. Been in the USMC for close to 4 years now and its time for either EAS or Re-enlistment. I have decided to follow a life long dream to try out for SOF, so come August I will heading to A&S for MARSOC.
A quick bio about we; I'm married, have a toddler, he's the thing I love the most in the world and probably one of the biggest reasons why I want to do SOF. I want to be able to help create a safer world for him, to sacrifice and bleed, so he doesn't have to and he can grow up without worry.
I grew up outside the continental USA, in Puerto Rico. Surrounded by crime, gangs and all the bad shit you can think of, I made it out though and I thank my military service for that, other wise I would probably not be here today.
I'm not the most athletic person you'll ever meet, I try to get in the best shape I can but we all have our strengths and weakness I guess. I do have an extremely sharp mind, I learn really fast, can adapt to anything and my brain just works like a sponge and a super computer. I fluent in more than 2 languages, very knowledgeable in foreign cultures and I read a lot on many topics.
I'm here to learn as much as possible, share whatever knowledge I can, and hopefully join the ranks of those who do violence on behalf of the righteous for a greater good.
