Hey there,
Currently an Active Duty Corpsman who just PCS'd to Pearl Harbor blue side.
Joining this Forum in hopes of getting some more information on options for getting a fast track to being a SARC from my current command. I just recently finished a sea rotation with 1STMARDIV for the past 4 years where I rotated from 1/1 to 2/1 to 3D AABN. I had been trying to get orders over to Recon, but between deployments and my NJP from my Motorcycle accident things never went in my favor. Which is good in the long run because it allowed me to mature more as a person. Though now I'm hoping there is a way where I can get there sooner rather then later. This is because I have recently discovered in just the past week of being blue side that a desk job is not for me. Last I heard Recon Corpsman is still a Hot Fill position. I'm hoping this will maybe help me get a ticket over there sooner.
Anyways, I've been eye-balling this forum from a non member perspective for quite some time, I figured it was just time to experience it first hand. Looking forward to it.
Thanks
