Hi guys,
My name is Ashton, but you can call me Ash. I'm excited to be a part of this community.
I think I was fairly young when I first read an article about SEAL training and immediately knew that was the kind of unconventional life I wanted; I have felt called to the military ever since. As I mentioned in my background, I recently finished two years of church service and volunteer work overseas in India and the Philippines, and that experience is what really opened my eyes and helped me realize that Army Special Forces sounded more like the kind of experience that I wanted to have. Currently, my plan is to enlist after college and then apply for OCS down the line (but that plan is tentative.)
I'm looking forward to gleaning what I can from the collective wisdom of the members on this forum. It's good to be here.
