Hello members of the Shadow Spear community I just want to say what a feeling it is to be able to communicate with actual SOF members and I've learned much from reading as a guest. I currently am preparing to join the army with an option 40 contract and meet all requirements. I currently have near a year to prepare for my path to be a Ranger hopefully and have spent entire days researching and educating myself of everything that is required of the job. Military has been an interest since childhood and I have always looked up to service members. I respect all branches, but I believe I really gravitate towards the Army Ranger mission and customs. I'm looking to take part in this mentorship program your site provides and get all I can on improving myself and preparing for a long and arduous journey ahead of me. My real concerns are simply fitness wise as I know mostly everything I need to know about everything else. Long story short I'm a bodybuilder that has transitioned into functional fitness and cardio related routines and struggling with some. I also can definitely learn more than just about fitness from members here.

Welcome.

This is a pretty bold statement for somebody a year away from actually shipping:

Maybe you want to start a new thread somewhere else and enlighten all of us that don't know everything, but have actually done the job?:-o

Welcome, o' wise one. :hmm:

Glad you came along to communicate 'everything.'

I apologize I didn't mean to come off as some douchey know it all I meant as in regards to the requirements for Rangers and how tough you need to be I have much to learn.

PUNCTUATION, structure and usage.... proper grammar... these will all help in clarity of communication. What you have here is just a bunch of words tossed together that make the reader work too hard to figure out what you are trying to say. Especially the bolded part.

Clarity of communication will be key item in your toolbox in the Army, it's also a mark of professionalism in your entire life.
