Hey guys, I joined this forum with the hopes of fostering brotherhood and expanding my knowledge. Here is a little information about myself. I'm in my late 20s and presently work for a contractor around DC. I studied engineering at a college in PA - where I'm originally from. It has been my goal since high school to serve in some capacity; and recently I enlisted in the ANG after a long and drawn out waiver process. I'm getting ready to leave for BMT and wanted to join in order to connect with other like minded individuals. In my spare time I like to read, go swimming, travel the US (when I can afford), hike and anything outdoors related. As you may discern from my username - I am involved involved in the fire service. I joined a volunteer fire house about six years ago because I wanted to do something to give back to the community and because I had a few friends who were involved as well.
