Been out of the loop for awhile. Missin the shit outta it and guess I'm kinda tryin to figure out the best route to take for gettin back in. My interests primarily lie in intelligence, strategy, failing/transitioning states, threat reduction of non-state players ... and makin everybody happy. :) I'm thinkin one of the small teams in AFRICOM would be a sa-weet, fun as hell assignment. It's mandate is so broad that... well, I srsly fell in --LOVE-- the first time I ever read it. Took my breath away and fell back like I'd just had the most kick-ass, amazing sex ever kinda thing. lol. Hell... I'd do that job for free just to get to play... again. :) Not sure of what my options are... if any... but thinkin that it's gonna have to be a unit putting in a request for an exception, even if I were to go the GG or civilian "contractor" route. I'm not exactly a civilian, but I'm not enlisted either. Sorta in a gray area, I guess. :) Suppose I'd like to hang out, chat here and there, maybe make a few cool friends and get an idea what my options are.

Pretty impressive "gray area" on your Profile. You were a PMC in Africa, Myanmar, the Balkans, Turkey, Russia, the "Stans," Central America and the Middle East. Welcome. We have some old and not so old Africa hands here and contractors who might be able to help you "get back in the game."
