I am a high school senior considering my plan for the next four to eight years of my life. Currently, I am waiting to hear back from several universities for full scholarship competitions in which I was a finalist. If I do not receive a full ride (I will know within the next 2-4 weeks), I intend to enlist in the Marine Corp under a 4 year contract. As I am sure you hear all too often, I will be trying for an Recon 0321 MOS and attempt to make my way over to MARSOC (an 0371 MOS if I'm not much mistaken). In terms of military background, I come from a Army family, but have no other involvement with the armed forces at this point in time. I came across this community when researching Recon and am here to learn as much as possible in terms of what route to take, general information and advice, and fitness.
