Evening all,
I've browsed the forums here for a few months to study up, and I'm currently still doing that. I'm a 21 year old from North Dakota. I've been working as a sales consultant for a large cellular provider for a year now. As well, I'm getting married to a woman that full heartedly supports my decision and that has had my back since the start. I have a background in long distance running and wrestling, as well as coaching said sports. Since age 14 or 15, I've always had the military in mind as my main career choice. After taking the ASVAB my Junior year of highschool, I planned on enlisting right after graduation. That has been delayed until recently, but I'm eager to take the reins now. I'm currently getting rid of a small tattoo, but I'm taking advantage of that extra time to prepare. After reading forums, books, watching documentaries, a few shows, and talking to a SF National Guard recruiter, I know that SF NG is the path I will take.
In all, I'm here to help out however I can. As well, I'm here to study up, take knowledge as it is given, and prepare the best I can for the pipeline. I'd be interested in a mentor and/or training partner if possible, but that will be for another post.
Thanks all,
Bkupp
