Hi, I'm Ratsnax. I appreciate your accepting me into the forum.
I am a prior service Marine and college student intending on going back in the military after I graduate. I'm here looking for advice to help me make decisions and plan a route. I want to be a pilot and I am stuck trying to decide whether to be a Marine Naval Aviator or an Army fixed wing aviator eventually applying to Green Platoon.

Thanks!

Thanks!

I have been told by my regional OSO that since I am a prior service Marine I sort of get front of the line privileges. As long as I pass the flight physical and the Flight aptitude test. I am pretty much guaranteed an aviation school slot. I am just trying to decide if I would rather fly in the Army or Marines. If I did go Army I would go the Warrant Officer route as I have read and been told that they are the best pilots and get more flight time since it is thier primary job. I also would like to lead Marines as well. This is my predicament.

I appreciate the information and you have some great quotes in your signature as well.

Welcome. What did you do in the Corps?

I was a Advanced Electrical Engineer Systems Technician!8-) But I was a Diesel Generator Mech. If it had an engine or electrical I could fix it. It wasn't the job I wanted but it worked out. I got to go to Afghan twice and make sure Comm and the power stayed on.
